Do you ever?
Do you ever think about me?
I'm two rows behind you in art class.
While you draw so lightly on your paper I stare at you.
I stare at you and wonder what we might be.
Will you be the one to take me on my first date?
We could go to a movie or have a date on the beach.
Will you be my first kiss?
A goodnight goodbye or a peck on the lips.
Will you be the one to ask for my hand?
By just asking me or writing it in the sand?
Will you be there for me forever?
Or is this never gonna be.
Anything but art class.
