The Uphill Stream

An uphill stream,
Once ran through these clouds,
Dancing through the starry sky.
Flowing,
Never slowing,
Twisting with the figures of the brothers,
‘Crooked’ and ‘awry’
Doors of stone,
Upon the hill,
Is where they meddled,
Content and still,
Birds of grace,
Daughters of the song,
Share your words,
Insane, absurd,
But nevertheless,
Spoken from an uphill stream.
