Living Death
Black and blue painted our souls,
 our hearts, and our domain
as we took one step back gasping at the air in pain.
We fell to our knees in agony pleading for no more
while coughed up scarlet blood lay cold on the floor.
Our freezing lips mutter words with a deep breath
"when, oh when will the days end of this living death?"
