Teddy Bear
Glossy eyes, and stiched up wounds,
sprawled out in the dusty attic
lies your old patched up teddy
 wishing this was more idiosyncratic

"If only, i could speak and walk,
 move and play like before,
If only I could run and talk
but I can yell no more.

Through the threads of my life
I've been battered, squashed, and squeezed
If I could just be hugged or loved or kissed
that would make me oh so pleased"

and through the words of this teddy,
 some might relate,
for from the face behind this mask,
 We really all are great.
