As the days go by.
I sit on my bed as the days go by,
I'm getting tired,
But I still sit and sigh.
I wait for the day you'll come to me,
With a big smile,
And you kneel on one knee,
Saying you will love and cherish me,
Asking if I will marry thee.
I imagine it,
You and me,
Loving each other in harmony.
I can only hum my sweet songs that long for you,
That want to yell at your love,
To make you realize you loved me once too.
But I sit and wait,
And watch the days go by,
I don't realize it in till my mother cries,
She cries for her young one,
She doesn't know whats wrong,
She thinks is because it's her,
So her tear run ever so long.
Then I sit and stare at a blank wall,
Imagining a very long memory hall,
All those memories I'll keep forever,
Like all those times we spent together.
But for now I sit on my bed as the days go by,
I'm getting tired,
But i still sit and sigh.
