It is better to have loved and lost than never to have loved at all.

On an island
In the rainforest

Night falls
With silence.

Then a symphony
Of voices

A choir
Of frogs

Sings.

There are tenors
and altos

All perfectly
Tuned
For the

World.

But where
Is the audience?

Left before the show ended
Or didn’t buy their tickets
They just didn’t

Care.

They tore down
The concert halls
To make way
For something new.

No longer treasured
That symphony
Except for

Dinner.

And so
I will hear nothing

If I stand in
The rainforest.

Because there
Forevermore

Night falls
With silence.

I heard about this website called savethefrogs.com. They were to make people aware that human activities were causing the extinction of thousands a frog species, some of which have already gone extinct. I just want to help spread the word.

Never thought of that.

Don't play many board games so I couldn't tell you.

Yeah, it looks like a master-gamer dice.

I googled images of an icosahedron!

Pretty neat shape...

I'm very brutally honest! I don't hesitiate to tell the truth!

Before your poems were good, but now, they are great! :)

I looked it up on Wiki yesterday.

And that was all just complete gibberish :)

Haha, the icosahedron rotates accordingly! Or something like that...

Yeah, I really agree with ThesilentRaven! You've really improved in your poetry, this is very smooth and gentle and extremely beautiful! I could really feel the rainforest! I see a lot of potential in you!

I can't believe you've actually turned poisonous frogs into something beautiful....

Nice job! :)

This world is falling fast, your words capture that perfectly. And yet there is hope. Thank you. This is absolutely gorgeous, and should be published in the magazine.

What struck me first after reading this is how much you've improved even since your first poem. Not that the poems prior to this one were any less, but that this one (and perhaps the last) flow so well, that you've made the content easy to read and more poetic. Very nice.

Long live the remaining frogs! May a blessing be upon their slippery backs, that they may be protected from their rude and destructive audience! And after reading this poem, I apologize sincerely to them for the injustices committed against them.

Very well put.
