Trust of Believe?
Trust or Believe?
I can believe in anyone.
I can believe in anything.
I can trust anyone.
I can trust anything.
I can live life in disbelief,
Of every person who gets too close.
I can live life without trust,
trusting and believing in no-one.
And yet I am undecided,
Who and what should I believe?
In a world full of pain and lies,
Who do I trust?
Can I trust the person who reads this?
Or do I trust no-one?
Because I do not know who to trust.
Because I do not know who to believe.
I will go through life unsure
Of just what I should do.
But in the end I still fail at disbelief
I fail at not trusting anyone.
Because in the end I believed in you,
And you let me down.
In the end I trusted you,
And you lied.
In the end I still believe and I still trust;
Even though I know I shouldn’t
I still trust and believe in love.
