alternate reality

when the sun shines down
all over me
i feel my skin burning
it hurts
but the pain soothes me
it heals me
for some reason i can slowly feel myself
drifting away
then
someone violently rips me
out of my alternate reality
and my peace
is suddenly broken
my happiness is slowly take away from me
it just is not fair
