Good VS Bad
I'm beginning to notice
I'm leaving my memories of my broken past
In the dark
Where they belong,
They're beginning to
Not crawl and bite
At my subconscious mind
At the back of my head,
I'm beginning to let new memories
Take the awful ones place;
Letting good conquer the bad.
My smile is larger
Every time a bad memory
Is gone and replaced with something I do
Want to remember,
I'm beginning to be me
Just without the horrid
Memories of depression, tears, and hurt.
I am me again.
