I Wish I Knew
I wish I knew which road I was to go on,
Cause right now the road,
Only leads to loss and confusion.
I am so lost right now,
Not sure if my road is right,
I wonder if I choose the wrong path,
Back when I saw the fork.
I wish I knew which road I was to go on,
Cause right now this road leaves me confused.
And lost,
And then confused.
A million thoughts run through my mind,
My mind is never free from them,
And they all lead me to different conclusions,
And if this was the right road for me,
I wouldn’t think so much,
Would I?
I wish I knew if this was the right path for me.
I wish I knew if I took the wrong fork.
I wish I knew which path I was to go on,
Instead I’m left lost and confused,
So confused.
Torn between doing what’s right,
And I want to do,
Torn between the selfless adult wants,
And the selfish teenager ones,
I wish I knew if this was the right road,
I wish I was a little less confused,
If I ever find my right road,
I hope to it,
But for the moment,
I guess this one’s for me.
But for the moment,
I guess this one’s for me.
