I’m always on eggshells around you,
Trying not to break what I feel
I already lost
I’ve been trying to pick up the pieces
Put them back
The way they were
But
Everything
Is
Slipping
Everyone is telling you
I’M SORRY
But you always look away
When you can
And your smile freezes on your face like a painted mask.
I’m slipping inside myself
So you don’t have to see me anymore.
