Masked Reflection
I look and see
 unhappiness, lies, protection
 walls, pain, uncertainty
darkness with a glimpse of light, anger, loneliness
 all masked with a smile

So many dishonest deceivers, two faced people, poseurs
Benedict Arnolds, traders, those who only look out for number one
their joy is other's pain, vampires sucking the happiness away, leeches sucking and sucking till there's nothing left

The vistim left alone, damaged, in tears, but never do they let others see
the "strong" must never break, never cry, never let things get to them
all the pain hidden in the shadows, never seen, never known

Shielded by strength, smiling because of pride, hiding weakness
looking down upon the followers, up upon the rain filled clouds, over a shoulder looking back upon the past
fallen but still standing, broken but still whole, happy but still frowning

 I look and see
 unhappiness, lies, protection
 walls, pain, uncertainty
darkness with a glimpse of light, anger, loneliness
all this masked with a smile
then I realize that I'm look in the mirror
my silent smile hides my secrets, but my reflection says it all
