Left to die
I wake up and sigh. Tears flow down my cheek and onto my shirt as I remember what happened. Everyday my heart breaks piece by piece and its so close to shattering. When I think of you it only makes it break more and only brings me closer to my death. I know I cant stand to live without you so its a question how I lasted this long.
I finally saw who you were when you left me broken and stranded. No one to lean on and no one to tell me it will be okay.
You were a monster but I loved you.

"It's a saying they have, that a man has a false heart in his mouth for the world to see, another in his breast to show to his special friends and his family, and the real one, the true one, the secret one, which is never known to anyone except to himself alone, hidden only God knows where."<br /> -James Clavell, "Shogun"
