A Color Between Silver and Gold
Broken dreams
And broken hearts
All inside my box
Of broken locks
Painted a color
Between silver and gold
Right in front of me
But nobody knows
Easily opened
But needing great care
Anyone can find it
You just need to know where to go
The locks don't work
The key won't fit
The box to big
The dreams to thin
Chunks of hearts
Here and there
Marks of dust
Behind the window pain
Memories lost
Down memory lane
Friendships ruined
I've had to many
But all you have to do is look in the corner
Past the dust
Over the dreams
Behind the pain
Under the influence
Around the corner
Outside of the box
And you might find
What you really need
And you lost nothing
But the key to the door
