Dear Friend,
Do you miss me?
Do you see the same storms I do?
Do you struggle in your classes?
Do you make new friends every day?
Do you have someone to lean on?
Do you miss me?
Do you lay awake at night
Every night
And imagine me walking through the Door
Like I do?
Do you have heartaches
and tears?
Do you miss me?
Do you look up and see the
Celestial stars
And stand awed?
Do you laugh?
Do you have a thousand inside jokes?
Do you have wild joys
Every now and then?
Do you miss me?
I loved you.
I still do.
Do you love me?

I have moved over twenty times, but this last time really hit me hard. That was my inspiration.

This sounds like it was really very personal, and that made it all the better!

My favorite line was the one about the celestial stars. the last four lines were also amazing- they were SO emotional! I will definitely be watching out for more of your pieces. Keep up the great work:)

P.S. I really apreciated that you commented on my piece "the sunset"- that was really nice:)
