Moon of Beauty
You are brilliant,
Sweet and not blindingly bright,
Your have a silver and white glow,
That flaunts your beauty to all,
Even though you have been wounded and battered.
Your wounds make you unique,
A symbol to all who you are weak,
A sign of strength,
Showing all who are battered,
That even the wounded are beautiful.
You are ever changing,
Never the same,
You choose an emotion every time we see you,
There is a time that you are full and confident,
In addition to you confidence you are shy and invisible.
You are queen of the night,
Watching your children rest,
Silently you wake us up,
Lowering yourself in the sky,
Watching us wake as you say good-bye.
