Shadows
You dress in black,
Cowering from the light,
You hide behind me,
Never standing up on your own,
You just stay on the ground.
You need me as your life source,
Never doing what you want,
You just mimic me,
My every movement,
You move from the sun.
You cower when I cower,
Stand when I stand,
You fade in with the dark,
Leaving me to fend for myself in the night,
You are my shadow.
