Heartbroken Breakfast
What does a broken heart eat for breakfast?
Red hot chili peppers sprinkled with hot sauce
Lemons and limes smotherd on burnt toast
Peaches and strawberries rotten with time
Crunchy old grahm crackers stale and pale
High cholesteral milk chocolate double deep fried
Raw cookie dough steeped in salmonella
Boiled eggs dipped in avocado goo and mustard
Fluffy biscuts caked in pablano pepper jelly
Burnt to a crisp bacon tossed on top of cheerios and asparagus
None sounds appetizing enough to start a day right
Sick sad hearts dwell in a common pool of sadness
None of that for me
Of love and sordid food I shall be free
