On a summer’s day,
The wind whistles
Freely singing its song.
Atop the waves
While they danced,
For many hours long.

On a summer’s day,
The sun strokes the earth,
Immersed in crystalline sky,
While the clouds float
In a still trance
Without saying goodbye.

This was the first poem I ever wrote. I wrote it for a school project a few years ago and I ended up discovering my passion for writing.Enjoy:)

Yet this I call to mind and therefore I have hope: Because of Gods great love, we are not consumed. His compassion never fail. They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness.

Boredom instigates extreme creativity.
~Amoniel

"Bowing gratefully to all of my subjects, 'thank you. Thank you. The pleasure is mine." Nah, I'm just kidding. We're all kings together.'"
~Thesilentraven

This was beautiful, though one line is in the wrong tense, I think you're writing in the present tense, but "while they danced" is in the past tense. Other than that, I found the imagery powerful, and the flow very flow-y ;) Great work, keep it up, my dear, may your passion for writing take you far.
