Dark, cloudy and rain
A miserable setting for
A miserable day

I walk down the hall
Letting the noise and crowds
Engulf me as
I pretend to be anywhere else

His warm touch
Brings me back to reality

I look over at him
And give him a sad smile
Before continuing on

He can sense that
Something is wrong

He wraps his arms
Around my waste
I try to shrug him off
His grip tightens
But it’s not uncomfortable

He turns me to face him
He press his lips against
My forehead
Then on my cheek
Then on my lips

He pulls back
I start to smile when
He pulls me close
And kisses me
Again and again

Time seems to freeze
The sun seems to shine

The perfect moment
The perfect kiss
