You are not alone.
And turn the page, don’t
be afraid because
you’re not alone.
I’ve been there, and I’ve
felt that. I know what it’s
like to lay in your bed,
listening as the
world is sleeping, silently.
While you
toss, and while you
turn, and while you
think about how nothing
feels right anymore.
And I know what it’s
like to be told that
“it’s okay.”
So let’s venture
into my words,
into the lines filled
with my thoughts.
And don’t worry, I’ll
hold your hand and
whisper that the end is near.
As you watch
the greatest moment of
my life unfold
in front of your never-seeing
eyes.
And I laugh. And I am happy.
And even though I am filled
with those unforgiving feelings of anger
and regret. You will read it
in the most expressive form
that my slightly creative mind
could come up with.
Because right now,
you are here.
