Untitled #3
You turned your back on me today,
and I had no idea what to say,
as I looked into the horizon
saw your back looking at me,
as your feet carried you away.
I sat and wondered for awhile,
at what I did or didnt do to get you,
to treat me this way.
Am I really as easly forgotten as,
a peice of dust?
a perice of paper with words written on it,
that represended the past.
And the worst of it,
the worst of it,
is simply i want it to be diffrent,
and i cant change it,
yet I want to.
I cant accept the present for what it is,
and i push back to what was,
and contouisly get left behind.
You turned your back on me today,
and I had no idea what to say,
as I looked into the horizon
saw your back looking at me,
as your feet carried you away.
I wondered what I could say.
