Me and Mary, Mary and me

We started out saying hi
now we will never say goodbye
we are alike in so many ways
we tell the dumb blond off everyday
do you remember homecoming night
our dancing was an entertaining sight
everyone knows we are best friend
and our friendship will never end
people try but can never be
like me and Mary, Mary and me
we annoy everyone in choir
I am surprised Dr. Jessie hasn't retired
we are going to be close till the end
and no this is not pretend
people try but cannot succeed
to be like me and Mary Mary and me
