A little girl
No more than six
As pretty and
As charming
As could be
Has fallen asleep
In a large meadow
Covered in tiny blue flowers

She wears a dress
As blue as the sky
Her hair is yellow like the sun
It’s curled and in two pig-tails

In her sleep
She looks so sweet
So precious and so peaceful
A little girl you would hope
Would never see pain or sadness
And only love and happiness

Too bad she has to die
. . . . . . . . right now

I both loved and was irritated by the ending. mostly loved. Good for you for putting it out there. Brilliant.

I was totally surprised by the last two lines! I thought that rest was quite a sweet story though!

You know, the last two lines were just random and unnesasary, I really don't know how to rate it, the rest I had absolutley loved. Maybe if there had been a warning or if there had been a reason (a good one, like she was sick or something) I wouldn't be so.....put off, I guess.
