You Bring Out The Child In Me
You bring out the child in me.
The creativity to draw to my heart’s content
on the walls and the ground.
The imagination to play with playdoh
and dress up pretending I’m a princess.
When you’re around I have no concerns.
I feel like I can do anything
and nobody can stop me.
When you’re around
I think of rainbows, sunshine, and colorful flowers.
If I’m sad
your presence will liven be up.
You bring out the child in me.
