Made Of Scars
I can see him there.
Inside my head, his face still haunts me.
The sound of all my cries,
Drain out all my laughs.
We used to be in love,
But now there’s nothing left.
And no longer,
No longer shall I wait.
And as these days go by
Am I the only one?
Who wants to tear this
Structure down around me,
These walls keep on talking
I tried to block them out;
They keep on telling me I’m made of scars.
All the days we spent
In the summer sun,
They seem so far away.
I cried for you
I almost died for you
No longer,
No longer ‘cause I’m through.
And as these days go by
Am I the only one?
Who wants to tear this
Structure down around me,
These walls keep on talking
I tried to block them out;
They keep on telling me I’m made of scars.
