Nothing ever goes away
It will only stay
If you beg, plead, or cry
You never look at the sky

To find the silver lining you seek
You must at least take a peek
Move your hands from your face
And look for that one silver place

Be it near or far
It might look a little like a star
To look for those special silver pieces
Make sure you look in all the small creases

You only look when it’s your last resort
Finding it might support
One of your last desires
It better be one that lights a few fires

Finding the silver lining
Is about love, life, and shining
