Huntress
The Huntress locks her eyes
On the small creature
The critter continues on
Unaware of the danger lurking
In the shadows she waits
For the time to end it
The life she throws away
To feed her happiness
Life is nothing to her
She doesn’t care
About pain
She cares for herself
She lost something
Along the way
That turned her heart
To ice
The Huntress strikes again
By dusk
Another life is lost
Because of the ice in her heart
