She is Love
Golden rays light up my bed,
an explosion of colors at first.
Passion lost all over the floor—
Inspiration hides somewhere, I know.
The mirror lets me know,
Paleness is everything that I’ve now become.
At least I have her.
Her hair on my pillow,
the darkest sunset in the shiniest, sunniest day.
Her eyes,
never have I seen the sea so close.
Her mouth,
the epitome of passion.
Her teeth,
the truest pearls.
Her laugh,
the sound of glory.
The sound you want to her when everything seems to be going down.
It’s like they had her in mind when they first mentioned the word perfection.
Maybe inspiration never escaped me.
Inspiration just found her.
