The hole in my chest
Is gone
for now
Until I speak
with the one
I call love
Pour out my
heart onto the
ground
I’ll pray
to a god
that doesn’t exist
to grant me
some nakedness
Let it come
through
The only time
to allow
the pain
I’ve kept
hidden
for so long
to come through
But he needs
to know
how much this hurts
even if
I don’t want
to feel the pain
