The One I Picked.. It Wasn't You
Just a simple name,
A cry for help. This image I have of you
Is stuck like glue In my brain
I see your face
I see your smile
I feel your embrace
I scream the phrase
I LOVE YOU
But it doesn't have the same
effect. It's like a magnet against
fabric. Nothing changes,
except the loss of you. And it hurts me,
truly you should know. That I wanted you forever,
but I had
to let you go.
