Delete Cookies? MAG
google chrome
has a setting
under the “history tab” in a drop-down menu
that gives you an option about whether
you want to delete the hour you spent online,
your time divided between facebook and youtube
or the last option on the list, clear it all
from the beginning of time.
oh, if only it were that easy
if with one click of a button
we could erase everything
start fresh on a blank canvas
set pen to paper
pin to record
fingers to keyboard
if only it were that easy to erase
the wars
the killing
the violence
and start over
learning from the mistakes
and have peace for once
but it isn't that simple because
the only choice you get is whether or not
to save passwords
and delete cookies too but starting over is sometimes
better than moving on so if only it were
that easy
to delete the world instead of
the embarrassing searches
you made in google
or the six times you checked your email
or the crush you stalked on myspace
but erasing time leaves pencil marks
the faint indent of words unwritten
the scars of people who have healed
but can't seem to forget
and sometimes
I wish we could erase it all
even the good stuff
because the bad sometimes
outweighs the good
and we could start
without biases or stereotypes
or prejudice
without god or religion or science
but instead relearning everything
together
but unfortunately google chrome doesn't give you that option
