His lean silhouette was surrounded
By the glow of the setting sun,
Seeing him in front of me, he seemed surreal,
Strands of his curly brunette hair framed his face
Highlighting his cheekbones,
His head held high
Chin stuck out deliberately,
Exemplifying strength and confidence, like a lion
Pouncing upon his prey, biting in one swoop,
Like the full moon that illuminates upon the blanket of darkness,
I halted in my tracks, unable to bear the power of his presence
