My Weakness
Always uptight, limited, publically proper;
The most to leave myself is a small smile.
Looking ahead, thinking before speaking;
Mouth pursed, ears open, emotionless face.
Royal posture always, legs crossed;
Like a diplomat at a conference.
With no drinking, no smoking;
Reserved to a couple of peers;
Unlikely to be excited or passionate;
Only blurting intelligence with a perfect speed.
Sure of my future, my plans;
Nothing to lose myself to.
Nothing to as much blemish my personality.
But yes, I can live to enjoy
Because there is a weakness
That lets me get through,
Moves me, excites me
Relaxes me, feels me.
Makes me breathe deeply; takes control over my soul.
For once, letting me close my eyes.
Pounding with every heartbeat,
Chasing me, transforming me:
Music.
Through which I live my life
Freely
