Daddy's Little Girl

Daddy’s little girl,
heart broken, feeling sorrow.
It’s the end of the day,
he’ll be watching you tomorrow.
And he’ll be watching you at night,
when you’re safely in sight.
When you shut your eyes,
for one last time,
you better be ready.
He will stand there in heaven,
with his head held high,
and his wings spread wide,
waiting for Daddy’s little girl.
