Spiderweb
Began on a sunny afternoon,
Glistening when everything was dull,
Your smile,
Your precious eyes colored,
Stared right into mine,
We connected and the web began to spin.
We spent hours together on endless days,
Confessing to each other our deepest secrets,
Growing closer to each other,
This web is spinning bigger and faster, it is getting out of control.
Then one day, you decided to destroy the sparkling, growing, gleaming spiderweb,
You said you are suffering,
You are tangled in this forsaken web,
You want out and you ended this beautiful, growing relationship.
