Motionless
It's like we are frozen in time,
You can hear our heart beat beating together,
we both stand motionless.
What you said has been done,
Both of us in shock of what just happened,
we both stand motionless.
Trying to figure out what i should do,
I feel like crying and running, but I can not move a muscle,
We both stand motionless.
We act like we are both about to walk away,
Our eyes staring in one another, asking the same question, are you sure you want this,
we both stand motionless.
Finally, I make the move, nod my head, and walk away,
The tears start falling down on my burning, hot cheek,
Still having the hope that he will come after me, I walk slowly and steadily towards the road,
When I realize, he's not coming, I pause, stand their motionless for a split second,
I fall down on my knees and begin to cry,
my world just ended.
