A year, tomorrow
And I have no answer for you
Or myself, I don't know
How to talk to you anymore
Or what I could have said
I should have reassured you
Promised the impossible
Inevitable, but I was still
Not who I am now
Partly thanks to you
I am brave, and I can
Stand tall again, hold
My head higher, even
Than it used to be
Before it was bowed
Uncertain, crowned in
Black, waiting for a song
And now it's been a year
That you've been gone, so I
Will sing for you
Tomorrow.
