At Least She Tries
She sits there in silence waiting to see
What she can do and what she can be
She tries her best to say what is needed
Even though she feels her words are never heeded
Her words cannot compare to that of the poet
But she still tries hard and he knows it
She has no words to make things better
But she can help a little if you let her
Her understanding can be lost at times
But she's ever forgiving of all your crimes
She might not be as great as him
But at least she tries in the end
