I remember the way you looked at me
The way your face lit up
Your eyes held no lies from me
But you said empty words
You told me you would never leave
Never lose hope
I put every ounce of trust in you
And I guess that's why it hurts
You made promises and memories
Only to throw them away
I choke back tears when I think about
Everything I need to say
I can't forget
I can't let go
Because without you,
I'm better off alone
