It mocks me and motivates me at the same time
I wonder how to rip it off in the best way
How to get back at its harsh writing and orange hue
It’s like trying to forget how the sun looks
I close my eyes and then squint
The words stay burned on my inner eyelids
I wonder how I got here
How I became the girl with the mocking mirror
The collection of wannabe motivational Post-its
Slain in her waste paper basket
I wonder how my life could fit on a 2x2 square
How one “you’re beautiful” note is my daily assurance
So I throw it away
