The Unwilling Mute

I don't speak because
it doesn't seem to mean
anything
my words just float through
people's ears
they don't hear me
they just ignore me
they look over me
so
I don't speak ecause
I'm not heard
I have a lot to say
but no one's here to listen
shouting doesn't work but
neither does whispering
it's pointless to try when
nothing at all whill come of it
I don't speak because
my mouth might as
well be glued shut
