Deep Inside This Forest
Deep inside this forest
I hear you whispers, silently echoing
Only to me
A thousand year’s memory comes back
In that instant, I’m surrounded
The old army that I abandoned
I knew everyone would catch me.
Eventually
After all, I betrayed them all
My only friends, my only family
Too late to forgive
Too late to forget
I use the sword
Not much use against their vengeful spirits
I keep fighting
‘Till my last breath
Not the hero,
The villain
Outnumbered
And a prisoner in their world forever.
