Testing
I studied and preped,
But when I saw it,
I think I wept.
“Not another D,” I cried,
“That gives me a C!”
I know I memorized my times tables,
The math test was going to be easy.
But when the test started,
I felt kind of queasy.
I was nervous and scarred,
This test was ten times to hard!
The test left my grade scarred and wounded,
My first thought was,
“I can improve it!”
I got a new test,
And I did my best
and when I got that test back
I was full of glee!
“100 precent,
this is better than a D!”
I learned a lesson that day,
Confidence is key!
