Memory Attic
There's a box in the attic
Where memories hide
Some of them truths
And some of them lies
They plead and they beg
To be opened, set free
But I cannot do it
It cannot be me
The truths will forsake me
The lies will embrace me
And I will be left
To where no one can save me
So the box must stay closed
All locked up, wrapped in chains
Or my soul will be lost
In a vortex of pain
I will remeber
nevermore, nevermore
I won't even dare
Pass by that attic door again
