Little, and fragile, but full of wonder.
He sits in a pile, of freshly raked leaves.
Smiling up at the placid blue sky,
He lets out a burst of laughter.

What excitement in brings,
to jump in those leaves,
to hear them crackle, and crunch, beneath him.
He wiggles in a pool of warm color.

Wrapped in a fuzzy brown coat,
blonde hair topped with a knit cap.
His eyes smile, along with his mouth,

Arms up in the air,
not a care in the world,
autumn brings color to his face,
making his cheeks rosy.

The picture of innocence
we all hold so dearly,
little and fragile,
but full of wonder.
