For the Love of God (I Cry)
If I cried for more than an hour, would you sit there and hold me so,
As to dry my tears and fix my fears and to help me not feel so low?
If I told you bye and came back a million times,
Would you forgive all my many mistakes?
Or would you push me away and say you’ve had enough?
I’m on my own, I have to be tough.
How long do you plan to put up with my crap? How long can this love last?
I’m scared to death of that wretched day,
When at last I am sent to go my own way
For losing you would be a loss I can never survive.
A torture so inconveivable I cant imagine.
I feel as if you are a part of me,
For without your love I can never be free.
Please God, don’t give up on me,
For without your love I can never be free.
