I'm giving up what I believe in,
I'm throwing my morals out the window,
Nobody understands who I am,
They don't even take the time to stop and listen and get to know me,
They shrug their shoulder and walk away as if I didn't say a thing,
I'm tired of feeling like nobody cares,
I'm tired of trying my hardest to get to know one another,
All I see is people dropping by to get what they want,
I'm done trying to change somebody's world,
At the end, all I get is hurt and more scared of life.
