The Days Go By

I could smell the autumn air,
the first time I saw you.
I could hear the crisp leaves first touch the ground,
the first time we touched.
I could see the snow fall eerily from the clouds,
the first time we kissed.
I could feel the birds falling for each other,
the day I fell for you.
I could taste the heat of the day, when you fell for me.
And I could feel the same autumn wind blow past my cold skin,
the day we fell in love.
