A boundary that is over looked and affects many families
Overcoming fear and enduring harsh treatment
Trying to make a living for you and your kids
In search for a better life and a better way of living
All with the same dream as many Americans
They have a hard time living in a place where they are discriminated
Believing that every one of our people is illegal
A place where it is not social normal for both parents to work
When people don’t like you just for being Hispanic
When having beans and tortillas is a normal meal
People assuming that we all don’t speak English
Getting asked if we could cut someone’s lawn and how much we charge
Being spoken to differently, due to the color of our skin
Our culture is look down upon for the reason that it is bizarre
Being inclined to think that we are all the same people and how we have the same name
Ascertained that all Mexican women get pregnant at an early age
This is what a normal day in the life of a Mexican consists of
